Whether you prioritize ease of use or enhanced privacy, there is a profile designed to help you.
What Are Protection Profiles?
Protection Profiles automatically configure how BlueMail handles potential risks such as tracking pixels, suspicious attachments, and links. By grouping security settings into clear, easy-to-understand tiers, we help you manage your inbox security without requiring you to be a cybersecurity expert.
Available Profiles
Basic Protection
Designed for everyday use, this profile provides standard safeguards without interrupting your workflow. It includes protection against tracking images, verifies sender authenticity (SPF/DKIM), and helps filter spam. It is a great balance for casual email users.
Standard Protection
Stepping up security, the Standard profile adds stronger defenses against malicious files. In addition to all Basic features, it blocks potentially dangerous attachments and provides warnings for risky file types or archives. This level is recommended for users who manage both personal and professional communications.
Advanced Protection
Our advanced tier is built for those who demand higher privacy and threat mitigation. This profile blocks all remote images by default, strips tracking parameters from links, and integrates with antivirus tools to alert you to potential phishing attempts. If you frequently handle sensitive information, this may be your preferred choice.
Custom
Prefer to fine-tune things yourself? If you manually adjust any specific setting within a preset—such as turning a toggle on or off, your profile will automatically switch to Custom. This allows you to enjoy the flexibility of a fully personalized configuration.
How to Activate a Profile
- Open Settings in BlueMail.
- Navigate to the Privacy & Security Center.
- Select your desired level: Basic, Standard, or Advanced.
- (Optional) Adjust individual settings to create a Custom profile.
