If you see the error IMAP_DISABLED: ‘imap-disabled’ while adding your email account, it means that IMAP access is turned off for this account. IMAP is required to sync emails in the app.
How to Fix This Issue
1. Check Your Email Provider Settings
- For Gmail: Go to Gmail Settings > See all settings > Forwarding and POP/IMAP. Ensure IMAP Access is enabled.
- For Outlook/Office 365: Some Microsoft accounts (especially work/school accounts) may have IMAP disabled by admin policies. Contact your IT administrator for assistance.
- For Other Providers: Check their settings or support documentation to enable IMAP.
2. Enable IMAP and Retry
- After enabling IMAP, restart the app and try adding the account again.
