Private Notifications in BlueMail

BlueMail's Private Notifications feature is important for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your email notifications on your mobile. Leveraging advanced encryption, it ensures that sensitive information remains protected from unauthorized access. With customizable settings, you have the flexibility to decide how much information each notification displays, tailoring the balance between convenience and privacy. This feature is configurable on a per-account basis, allowing you to set different preferences for each of your accounts. This ensures that each notification not only meets your specific privacy needs but also upholds the highest standards of data protection and confidentiality.

Encrypt Notifications Toggle

Encryption allows users to choose whether their notifications are encrypted. It puts you in complete control of your notification security. Opting for 'Yes' ensures that all your notifications are securely encrypted, adding an extra layer of privacy to your communications. This flexibility is ideal for adapting to different environments and security needs.

Private Notifications Mode

  1. Access Settings: On BlueMail for mobile navigate to the Settings menu.

  2. Select Notifications: Within Settings, find and tap on Notifications.

  3. Choose Your Account: Scroll through the list to locate the account for which you want to customize notifications.

  4. Modify Notification Content: Tap on Private Notifications under your chosen account.

  5. Pick Your Preference: In the Private Notifications view, you'll be presented with three options:

    • Show All Details: Select this to receive notifications with full content details.
    • Show Only Sender: Choose this to see only the sender's name in notifications, keeping the message content hidden.
    • Hide All Message Details: Opt for this to maximize privacy by hiding all details in the notification.

Simply select the option that best fits your privacy needs for each account.
