How to Toggle Email Read Status Upon Opening?

To disable or enable the automatic marking of emails as read upon opening, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Settings.
  2. Select Account Settings.
  3. Choose your specific account.
  4. Go to the Advanced section.
  5. Here, you can enable or disable the option "Mark as read when opened".

Alternatively, you can follow this path:

  • Menu (represented by three dots) | Accounts | Select your account | Advanced Account Settings | Enable/Disable "Mark as read when opened".
