Exploring Widget Capabilities - How They Enhance Your Experience

BlueMail offers two types of widgets: a 1x1 basic widget and a 3x3 scrollable widget. These widgets are resizable and can be configured for any one of your accounts, or even multiple accounts.

1x1 Unread Count Widget

The 1x1 Unread Count widget serves as a launching pad for a specific mail account or your Unified Inbox. It also displays a badge indicating the approximate number of unread emails in that account. You have the option to add multiple 1x1 Unread Widgets for each desired account.

3x3 Scrollable Widget

Our more advanced 3x3 scrollable widget comes in White and Transparent color schemes. It provides a quick view of your Mail List View, and you can even compose emails directly from the shortcut.

Configuring Widgets

To configure our widgets, the process usually involves pressing the Apps button on your device (often resembling a grid of squares) and switching to the "widgets" tab. Then, search for BlueMail, select one of the widgets, and drag it onto your homescreen.

On iOS

Home Screen Widgets

Compose Widget Quickly compose new emails from a selected account without launching the BlueMail app. This widget saves you time by simplifying email composition.

Unread Widget Stay updated on the number of unread emails across your selected accounts. It provides a quick overview and easy access to unread messages.

Email Widget View the latest emails from a selected account on your home screen. This widget keeps you informed by displaying email previews without opening the app.

Agenda Widget Keep track of upcoming events and tasks from your home screen with the Agenda Widget. It displays your agenda conveniently, helping you manage your schedule without opening the BlueMail app.

Calendar Widget Stay informed about your schedule with the Calendar Widget on your home screen. It provides a quick overview of upcoming events and appointments, ensuring you never miss an important meeting.

Lock Screen Widgets

Unread Widgets Stay informed about unread emails directly from your lock screen with the Lock Screen Unread Widget. Quickly check the number of unread emails without unlocking your device, ensuring you never miss important messages.

Adding Widgets on iOS (Home Screen)

  1. From the Home Screen, touch and hold a widget or an empty area.

  2. Tap the Add button (gray + button) in the upper-left corner.

  3. Locate "BlueMail" in the widget management screen.

  4. Customize the widget's size as preferred.

  5. The widget(s) will appear on your Home screen.

Adding Widgets on iOS (Today’s View)

  1. Swipe right from the Home Screen or Lock Screen.

  2. Touch and hold a widget or an empty area until the apps jiggle.

  3. Tap the Add button (gray + icon) in the upper-left corner.

  4. Select the BlueMail Email Widget.

  5. Customize the widget's size as desired.

  6. Tap "Done" to save the changes.

  7. The widget(s) will now appear in your Today View.

Adding Widgets on iOS (Lock Screen)

  1. Touch and hold the Lock Screen until the Customize button appears, then tap Customize.

  2. Select Lock Screen.

  3. Tap on the Widget Area

  4. Tap Add Widgets.

  5. Tap or drag the BlueMail widgets that you want to add to the Lock Screen.

  6. When you're finished, tap the close button, then tap Done.

Removing or Editing Widgets on iOS

  1. Swipe right from the Home Screen or Lock Screen.

  2. Touch and hold a widget and tap Edit Widget.

  3. Make your changes and tap outside the widget to exit.

  4. You can also rearrange your widgets for easier access by touching and holding a widget until it jiggles, then moving it around on the screen.

On Android
