How Do I Update My Password on my Yahoo Mail Account Using OAuth?

Updating your Yahoo Mail credentials is important for maintaining the security and accessibility of your account. Here's how you can do it:

  1. If a password update prompt appears at the top of the Mail List, tap "Update".
  2. Otherwise, navigate to Settings | Account Settings.
  3. Select your Yahoo account.
  4. Go to Edit Account | Update Password.

Finalizing the Update

After selecting to update your password, a screen will prompt you to sign into your Yahoo account. Enter your new credentials, and your account will be updated and ready for use.

To change the password on your Yahoo account in the BlueMail app, simply tap More (⋮) | Accounts | Select your Yahoo account | Update Password.

Note: Since Yahoo uses OAuth for enhanced security, you'll be directed to Yahoo's authentication page to complete the password update. OAuth ensures that your account remains secure and properly connected to the Yahoo service, enhancing overall account protection.
