BlueMail blocks tracking pixels in emails to protect your privacy. Here's how it works:
What Are Tracking Pixels?
Tracking pixels are tiny, often invisible, images embedded in emails that track your activity when you open the message.
How BlueMail Blocks Tracking Pixels
BlueMail automatically blocks tracking pixels. When you open an email with these elements, a visible message at the top of the email will indicate “tracking image blocked.” You'll also see a message saying “tracking images were detected” with an option to download all images.
Managing Images in Emails
- View Without Images: Open the email, and the tracking images will be blocked automatically.
- Download Images: If you choose, you can click to download all images, but this may allow the sender to track your activity.
Adjusting Image Settings
- Go to Settings: Open Settings and select Privacy.
- Block Tracking Images: Adjust whether images should always be blocked or manually downloaded.
