How Do I Update My Password on My AOL Mail Account Using OAuth?

Updating your AOL Mail credentials is crucial for maintaining the security and accessibility of your account. Here's how you can do it:

  1. If a password update prompt appears at the top of the Mail List, tap "Update".
  2. Otherwise, navigate to Settings | Account Settings.
  3. Select your AOL account.
  4. Go to Edit Account | Update Password.

Finalizing the Update

After selecting to update your password, a screen will prompt you to sign into your AOL account. Enter your new credentials, and your account will be updated and ready for use.

To change the password on your AOL account in the BlueMail app, simply tap More (⋮) | Accounts | Select your AOL account | Update Password.

Note: Since AOL uses OAuth for enhanced security, you'll be directed to AOL's authentication page to complete the password update. OAuth ensures that your account remains secure and properly connected to the AOL service, providing better account protection.

You can either add your AOL account automatically, or manually configure your AOL account.
