BlueMail employs the most advanced privacy and security authentication protocols compatible with your email provider.
For providers like Gmail and Outlook that support OAuth, OAuth facilitates a secure authorization process. By granting BlueMail approval as an authorized application, it can access your email under your control and for as long as you permit.
This authorization process is conducted directly with your email provider, who already has your credentials (username and password). After authorization, BlueMail receives a token, which you can manage and revoke anytime.
If your provider updates their security policies, you may need to reauthorize your account to refresh the OAuth token. BlueMail will notify you to reauthorize your account if there's a change in the token from your provider.
