How to Take a Screenshot

Taking a screenshot can be a handy way to capture and share what's on your screen. Here's how you can do it on different devices:

Windows

Capture the Entire Screen:

  1. Press the Windows key + 'Print Screen' button (may be abbreviated as 'PrtScn' or similar).
  2. The screenshot will be saved in your Pictures folder.

MacOS

Capture the Entire Screen:

  1. Press Shift + Command + 3.
  2. The screenshot will automatically save to your desktop.

Capture a Portion of the Screen:

  1. Press Shift + Command + 4. The cursor will change to a crosshair.
  2. Click and drag to select the area you want to capture.
  3. Release the mouse or trackpad button to take the screenshot.
  4. The screenshot of the selected area will be saved on your desktop.
iOS

On Devices with Face ID:

  1. Simultaneously press and then release the side button and volume up button.

On Devices with a Home Button:

  1. Simultaneously press and then release the Home button and the side button or Sleep/Wake button (depending on your model).

Screenshots will be available in your device's photo gallery.

Android
  1. Open the content you wish to screenshot.
  2. Locate the power and volume buttons.
  3. Press both the power button and the "volume down" button simultaneously.

Like on other platforms, the screenshot will be saved in your device's photo gallery.
