The circle on the left side in the Mail List View is known as an avatar. This avatar represents the sender, and it may display either a picture or the initials of the contact, derived from the username or email address. BlueMail also provides pre-defined avatars for some common services, making it easier to identify these services.
You can personalize the avatar for each email address using your Phone Contacts application. To do this, tap on the avatar of the contact, select Add/Open, and then assign a profile picture to the contact. All incoming emails from this contact will thereafter display this chosen avatar.
Removing the Avatar from Mail-List View
To remove the avatar from the Mail-List view, follow these steps:
- Go to More.
- Choose Global.
- Select Design Preferences.
- Tap on Avatar Preferences.
- Toggle OFF the avatar feature.
