Both your Android Operating System and your Device’s specific ROM have “battery management” services that can interfere with BlueMail’s Instant Push Notifications and response time (among other features). Please see below how to easily whitelist BlueMail from these services.
Disable Battery Optimization for Specific Apps
- Go to Settings on your Android device.
- Tap on Battery or Battery and device care (this may vary based on the manufacturer and Android version).
- Find Battery Saver or a similar option. In some versions, this might be under Advanced settings.

- Select Extreme Battery Saver.

- From here, select BlueMail. Changing this setting can help BlueMail run in the background without being restricted by Doze mode or Extreme Battery Saver mode.

Adjust Battery Saver Settings:
- Navigate to Settings and then to Battery.
- Access Battery Saver or Power Saving Mode.

- Toggle this feature on or off, or set it to activate automatically at certain battery levels. Disabling it can reduce the restrictions placed on apps.

Checking for Background Restrictions:
- In Settings, go to Apps or See all apps.
- Select an app to adjust and look for any settings related to battery or background usage.
- Users can often choose to allow unrestricted background data or activity for specific apps.

Excluding BlueMail from Device-Specific Services that Interfere with BlueMail's Performance
Many device manufacturers have their own built-in "battery management" services that can adversely affect BlueMail’s rapid performance and reliability. When BlueMail is being “managed” by these programs, Instant Push Notifications and syncing/downloading emails are likely to be affected and delayed.
For this reason, we strongly suggest that you whitelist BlueMail from these types of services to enable Instant Push. Please choose your device below to see how simple this is:
